Our boat is a 21' Godfrey Sweetwater and can take up to 8 passengers.
State law mandates that any passenger 13 years of age or younger must were their life vest anytime the boat is in motion.
Adult and teenage life vests are provided. We do ask, if you have smaller children, that you bring a life vest for them so they get the best fit.
We offer trips on Saturdays and Sundays only $125.00 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Whether a sightseeing trip around the lake or North to the waterfalls or a stop at shaw island to hang out in the water and enjoy time with your group and the locals.
You are welcome to bring an ice chest with your favorite beverages and snacks. Don't forget your towels and sunscreen! 4-hour trips are from 9:00am-1:00pm and 2:30pm-6:30pm. It is possible to add time if another trip is not scheduled. We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before departure for paperwork, a quick boat and rules orientation and then to load your ice chest and belongings.
Your Captain is more than a guy driving a boat. He is there for you and your needs. While you are hanging out in the water your captain will throw you another drink, take your empties, change your music or whatever you need so you don't have to stop having fun. When your trip is over, and if you have had a great time, please remember to tip your captain.
Lake Buchanan is the largest of the 7 lakes that make up the Highland Lakes Chain. Spanning more than 5 miles wide and 31 mile long, there is plenty to see and do. Currently, central Texas is in a pretty serious drought and Lake Buchanan is about 12' below full. But don't let that get you down. That has provided some unique opportunities for your day. Buchanan Dam boasts that it is the world's largest multiple march dam. With the water down, these arches are now visible and can be viewed in passing on your way to one of the many new islands. Few know, but the town of Bluffton once sat next to the Colorado river. When the dam was completed in 1939, this small town was moved uphill, and the lake took over. With the water down, a few old structures and wells can now be seen and visited. A prefect trip on Lake Buchanan will include a ride around the lake and a stop off at one of the islands or peninsulas to hang out in the water.
A busy lake to say the least. Many boats run up and down this Lake. Great for people watching, take a trip through Apple Head area of Horseshoe Bay to see the many magnificent houses. See LBJ's former lake house, then spend the rest of the day hanging out on the sand bar partying it up with the rest of the many people out having a great day. Because of the number of other boats on this lake, it can get pretty choppy. Be prepared for an adventurous ride and possibly get wet while under way.
